The SCW In Washington

The SCW is a newer promotion operating in Washington, headed by former Arizona wrestler Ron Sutherland. The promotion is set to run varied cards using area wrestlers, as well as big names like Raven and Kevin Sullivan. Foxy Boxing is also being added.

From the late 1980s into the 1990s, Sutherland was a mainstay in Arizona under the name of Section 8, feuding with Louie Spicolli, The Lumberjacks, John Ringer, Special Forces and others.

Sutherland also ran Rage in the Cage for several years in Tucson, where wrestling matches were held in a  cage similar to ultimate fighting rather than a ring.
