Ken Lucas died in Augusta after a lengthy illness.
Lucas started out in Arizona and was a major star there in the 1960s, most notably feuding with Tito Montez, though he faced many others. His last Arizona actions came in the 1980s.
Lucas was likewise a major attraction in the southern states, where he spent many years facing the likes of Jerry Lawler, Eddie Sullivan, Rip Tyler, Cowboy Kelly and others..
