May marks the sad anniversary of the death of Owen Hart and one of the most unfortunate incidents in the history of wrestling. It was a death that should not have happened.
For those unaware of the incident, Hart fell to his death while wearing a mask as The Blue Blazer. He was to have "flown" into the ring like a "superhero" when a harness malfunctioned and he fell, bouncing off the ring ropes like a basketball hitting a wall and landed in a heap in mid ring. He died a short time later from the impact which crushed his chest.
Long gone, dead too soon and always remembered. .
